Interested in a career that really matters?
Our graduate program is designed to be an immersive introduction into the world of transport where you will work with talented and creative teams to create meaningful transport systems that solve problems and influence cities and regions of the future.
With GTA, you can expect to work on a variety of transport projects across a broad mix of government and business clients. Offices around Australia and an expanding client base mean you'll be exposed to a wealth of opportunities right across the Australasian region.
You'll be involved in creating transport outcomes that lead to liveable cities and communities; a rewarding career path that sees you constantly interested and excited by your work.
Program Structure
GTA’s graduate pathway is a one-year program designed to get you immersed and working in the consulting environment and the fist step in your ongoing career with GTA. It is a formative program that is designed to give you a complete understanding of GTA’s areas of business, including where your strengths and interests sit. At the end of your first year, you will have an appreciation of our business groups, project base and service delivery.
Quarterly rotations will ensure that you work in each of our service areas and gain experience in those specialties. You will be involved in a holistic range of projects and develop an awareness of the interdisciplinarity of our services to provide strong project outcomes.
In addition to your introduction to GTA, through our partnerships with industry bodies you will also gain exposure to the disciplines we work with as well as the broader context that influences our work. You will have the opportunity to attend industry events, seminars and networking sessions to begin your journey in the consulting world.
GTA’s program is filled with training, skills development and growth opportunities so that you start your career progression from Day 1. To enhance your learning, we also have a series of additional skill workshops so that you can develop professional skills alongside your technical capabilities.
